Volunteering
Over the years, Kid Net Foundation has relied on many faithful volunteers to assist with a variety of activities. Our volunteer coordinator tries to match each volunteer's strengths and interests with our needs so the experience is positive for all involved.

Direct Care of Children
As a volunteer, you have the opportunity to work directly with the children (e.g., playtime, helping with meals or homework, or just giving them some TLC). Volunteers who are not able to contribute their time with the kids can be involved in many other ways. Volunteers assist with coordinating food drives and gathering items from our Wish List. Join our Circle of Friends, or be creative and give us your ideas.

Each volunteer is required to:

  • Consistently volunteer three to four hours per week

  • Complete scheduled volunteer orientation

  • Undergo a required criminal background check

  • Have an annual TB test

  • Provide three non family references (short paragraph)

  • Complete necessary paperwork
