The groundbreaking ceremony provided the culmination of
excitement as everyone gathered to see Mike Modano use his
hockey-stick shovel to turn the first earth, marking the
beginning of construction on this inspiring new chapter
for Jonathan’s Place. The celebration ended with an
opportunity for everyone to fly the world’s smallest
kites, which had been included in the clever invitations.
Phase I is now set to
begin construction and is scheduled for completion in 2003.
It will triple current capacity by offering two additional
cottages for children from birth through age 11. We are
so excited about this new adventure, and we are grateful
to everyone who was able to be a part of our celebration.
We would like to extend a very special thank-you to the

for their extraordinary support in this endeavor.
