Congressman Pete Sessions
Visits Jonathans Place
Congressman Pete Sessions arrived at Jonathans Place
at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, July 22, 2002, to meet our board,
staff, auxiliary members, and kids. While at the facility,
Congressman Sessions announced his desire to provide ongoing
support of our special home. He was accompanied by Executive
Chief of Staff, Charles Bauer.
Dear Jonathans
Place Staff:
What a great event
last Monday. I was thoroughly impressed and emotionally
moved by my visit to Jonathans Place. I want to pat
each of you on the back for taking the time to remain dedicated
to our children, especially those that have nowhere to go.
Every child has great
potential and an unwavering desire to share their love with
the world. Many times the children you see have already
experienced more grief and more hardship than any of us
will see in our entire life.
Your attention to
their needs and your care for them helps make sure they
see that life presents a tremendous amount of opportunities
and gives them hope. I applaud your efforts, look forward
to being involved and helping Jonathans Place reach
its goals.
Warm Regards,
Pete
Sessions
