Crystal Charity Ball
Jonathan’s Place competed with several worthy children’s
charities (for the eighth year in a row) to be selected
as one of the beneficiaries of the Crystal Charity Ball.
For the first time ever, our team was selected to present
in the final round of the competition.
The Crystal Charity Ball
Committee, established in 1952, has raised more than $40
million with an active membership of 100 women. Crystal
Charity has been named the number-one money-raising charity
in Dallas County by the Dallas Business Journal. Town &
Country also ranked Crystal Charity the best charity for
children in the United States, and the National Society
of Fund Raising Executives has honored Crystal Charity with
its Outstanding Philanthropic Organization distinction.

team presenting to more than 60 active members of Crystal
Charity Ball included Barbara Bratton (Vice President),
Judy Pollock (Capital Campaign Director), Robert Rogers
(Assistant District Attorney - Child Abuse Unit), Heather
McKenzie (Reporter and Producer), and Lisa Matthews (Executive
Director).
