Jonathan's Place is licensed
as an emergency shelter by the
Texas
Department of Protective and Regulatory Services (TDPRS).
Programs are managed
by a licensed child care administrator. Professional treatment
team members (e.g., pediatrician, licensed psychologist,
LMSW-ACP and ECI) provide assessments and monthly monitoring
of each child's plan of service. Staff are CPR/first aid
certified, PMAB certified and they are required to complete
a minimum of 30 training hours annually.
Referrals
Referrals for placement at Jonathan's
Place come from drug treatment centers, Child Protective
Services caseworkers, social service agencies and individuals
needing assistance.
Requirements for a
child to be placed at Jonathans Place include the
following:

Child has been identified
as at-risk, abused, abandoned or neglected; and/or is living
with a drug-dependent parent.

Child is under the age
of 12.
