Meet a Donor and Volunteer

Jonathan’s Place volunteer Heather Davis noticed that something was lacking at our home. She saw that several of the bikes needed repairs and that we were in need of new bikes as well. Determined to find a solution, Heather spoke to Kamal Daya and asked whether the Nautilus Group (New York Life agents) could raise money at informational seminars to purchase new bikes for Jonathan’s Place.

Heather also worked to ensure that the old bikes were repaired. Not only that, but Heather organized everything while coping with the ups and downs of pregnancy.

Last year Heather and her husband, Rob, were Saturday volunteers at Jonathan’s Place until about two weeks before their own little one was born. Now that she is unable to volunteer because of her new addition, Heather is working on new ways to remain involved. She decided to collect baby food and clothing for our kids.
